Therefore, under the initiative "Osmanabad District Central Co-operative Bank at your doorstep", it has become possible to provide banking services to customers anywhere, anytime.



Distribution of grants to the destitute at village level through Mobile ATM Van:

Mobile ATM After the launch of the van, the bank started distributing government grants to the elderly, destitute and disabled customers in rural areas at the village level under the initiative "Osmanabad District Central Co-operative Bank at Your Doorstep". It is still going on.

Year 2019
1) In the month of January 2019, the service was provided to the customers by visiting 5 villages for 5 days.
2) In the month of February 2019, service was provided to the customers in 10 villages for 7 days.
3) In the month of March 2019, service was provided to the customers in 19 villages for 8 days.
4) In the month of November 2019, the service was provided to the customers by visiting Medsinga village for one day.

Year 2020
1) In the month of January 2020, the service was provided to the customers by visiting 5 villages for 5 days.
2) In the month of February 2020, service was provided to the customers by visiting 2 villages for 2 days.
3) In the month of March 2020, the service was provided to the customers in 16 villages for 9 days.
4) In the month of April 2020, the service was provided to the customers in 19 villages for 9 days.
5) In the month of May 2020, the service was provided to the customers in 27 villages for 15 days.

Year 2021
in the month of July 2021, the service was provided to the customers by going directly to 08 villages for 4 days. However, through this District Bank's Mobile ATM Van, banking services have been provided to around 50,000 farmers and destitute people by visiting at least 100 villages under the jurisdiction of the District Bank as well as village markets and fairs.



Use of Mobile ATM Van during the period of Covid-19 virus infection.:

The Chairman of the Bank, Shri. Suresh Birajdar, Vice Chairman of the Bank Shri. Kailas Shinde Hon'ble Board of Directors and Executive Director Shri. Vijay Ghonse Patil has been following up with NABARD to get mobile ATMs from NABARD. Van, Micro ATM Obtained on a grant for the bank. During the period of Covid-19 virus infection (year 2020) due to corona virus infection, government schemes like Sanjay Gandhi Yojana, Shravanbal Yojana, Widow Patni Niradhar Yojana etc. by following the rules of social distance and corona. Grants of the beneficiaries of the scheme are deposited in the District Bank. The grant has been distributed in the village of the concerned beneficiary as well as in the house of the concerned.

Due to the limitation of the bank's day-to-day operations during the Covid-19 virus outbreak, the time limit for disbursement of homeless grants to the concerned beneficiaries was getting shorter. There were also restrictions on travel due to the lockdown. Overcoming this problem, Osmanabad District Bank has distributed grants to the destitute beneficiaries in the villages under the branch of Umarga taluka.

Also this year (2021) the chairman of the bank Shri. Suresh Birajdar and Executive Director of the Bank Shri. Mr. Vijay Ghonse Patil appealed to the employees of the bank to implement this initiative at their doorsteps. This has also been reported by the media. Thus Osmanabad District Central Co-operative Bank has become the first district central co-operative bank in the state to provide banking services.

This bank From 01 July 2021 to 10 July 2021, NABARD has implemented financial literacy campaign in the district on the occasion of 12th July 2021. Under this campaign, the bank has successfully carried out the work of disseminating information about various schemes implemented by the National Bank in rural as well as urban areas of the district.

The bank has specially used mobile ATM van for this campaign. The bank visited eight talukas of the district and provided information about banking services and NABARD schemes through mobile ATMs. Supplied by van.
